Broadlands School

Environmental Education

At Broadlands School, we are renowned for and very proud of our incredibly attractive physical environment.

Although not formally an EnviroSchool, our active EnviroGroup spends time about the school keeping it tidy and occasionally planting a wonderful selection of native species each year.

The EnviroGroup has also been involved with community planting days over recent years including the Lions Club Vaile Road Reserve project and the Te Toke Road Riverside Reserve joint Contact Energy / Ngati Tahu – Ngati Whaoa Runanga Trust project on two occasions. In 2013, the EnviroGroup was also involved in ‘Beautify Broadlands’ project with the support of the Rotorua District Council.
